For my favorite teacher

This poem I would like to give it to my favorite teacher ever, Mr. R.
I just want to show what I think about you. I really want him to comment this, but I know that you can’t! I asked the principal if I still can have contact with you. He said to me that now I’ll work on this blog by myself. If I talk to you it will not be as a teacher to a student anymore, but he still not sure about it. He will tell us about my question ASAP!!

Mr. R this poem is for you^^
I hope you’ll like it.

Intrepid Teacher

He knows he’ll lead the way
Each step he makes
Each word he said
Could change everything

He moved, talked intrepidly
His step guide me
His words told me what to do
My teacher

He worked hard
He never gives up
He tried everything
Everything just to made us love study

He tried not to be boring
He acted as a friend
Not teacher, nor larder
Friend
My teacher

His smile brought the joy to the class
His jokes took the pain away

He taught weird
Unorganized, messy
Yet fun and educational

1st I met him
My eyes glared in amazement
Glare at his weirdness

No, he doesn’t look like a great teacher
No, will he give us something usefull?
Ugh, he’s messy!

As time goes by
He showed a great magic
Magic behind these boring words
Words once called “study, writing, poem, and reading”
My teacher

I’m a teacher in a charter school in Kansas, USA. The words you’ve written here are, I’m sure, well appreciated by your teacher. I do not say *former* teacher, because even now you are learning lessons.

In your honesty, it is evident you have learned much, but you know there’s still so much before you to learn. Your teacher has been a learner his entire life and I’m sure he also expects you to do the same, playing both the roles of teacher and learner. I know I have the same expectations for my students.

I know he cannot speak to your efforts, so as a teacher myself, I will say that your words are a beautiful tribute to his success. No teacher could ever ask for more.

And as my favorite teacher frequently said to me, “Now go get ‘em, tiger!”

    Hi, GingerTPLC,
Thank you for your comment. What you wrote was really nice.
I hope my teacher read my post and I hope he can’t talk to me soon.

As you were saying, my teahcer hope that I can be a teacher and a student .
I’ll try to be teacher and student at the same time. Sometimes I do feel like I am a teacher. I tried to teach certain people, like my family and my friends when I feel they did something wrong(no one perfect, even adult right??!!) but sometimes they won’t listen to me.
I wonder if the student in your school did the same things. Not listening to you :D

Well, at the same time I’ll also try to be a student. I have a lot more to know, to learn. There’s a lot of things going on in this world that we don’t know right???!!

    Hi Jo Mceay,
Yes, it finally work thank you so much. Well, I do hope that more people around the world will see my blog, because there is a lot in this blog that I really hope will help people and can change the world. :’)

Awww,…so sad. I love your poem. I felt the same way about Mr. R. He took things in different approaches. Wish he could really comment on our blogs very soon. I think blogging will be the only way to contact him. I hope there are more ways though…
We are all missing him. =(

Thanks for the comment on my blog. Iya.. remember in class when I talked about bikin buku dedicated to him?? Maybe kita bisa send him both our stories…sama2. It’ll be cool. But I really wish he was in class so we wouldn’t have to go through the huge and complex process to give him that….

Yeah, I know. He was the best and still is!
Are you still sad about Mr. R?

try to get over it.We can’t be sad cause of him that long. We are going to miss him, but we still have things to do. More important than being sad cause we miss Mr. R. Right?
